Description
Burley stoves are the cleanest least polluting stoves in the world. This is achieved through a three step combustion process. Firstly, the intensity of Burley’s Fireball combustion chamber ensures the majority of particulates are burnt before leaving the combustion chamber. After this an remaining particulates have to pass through Burley’s unique soot trap. This is a red hot stainless steel mesh on which particulates spontaneously combust on contact releasing more energy in the process. Finally, particulates that survive the previous steps still have to make it through the catalytic converter where they are burnt through oxidation. The combination of these three measures results in particulate emissions as low as 0.1 grams per hour. For comparison burning one single open fire produces more particulate emissions than 300 Burley stoves.
